About Us

History

NEA Children’s Museum was founded in November of 2023 by Jordan Carlow and Kristen Amick. As a growing community, there is an increasing need for a family centered attraction. NEACM will be designed with local interests in mind for children to have a space to learn and play.

Progress To-Date

NEACM has received a grant from the Dept. of Arkansas Tourism, matched by a grant from the City of Jonesboro A&P Commission. The grants were used to fund the initial feasibility study.
The feasibility study results showed positive results for the need of the museum in Northeast Arkansas.
NEACM hosted it’s first fundraiser – “Night at the Museum” where the new brand, Master Plan, and other details were presented to the public.
NEACM has received an $80k donation from Jonesboro Unlimited to help advamnce the Master Plan.
